A sculptural piece in the very heart of Madrid’s most important financial district.
The Tower as sculpture

The architecture firm Fenwick Iribarren, in co-authoryship with the firm Serrano Suñer Arquitectos, have been responsible for the design of the new architectural complex.

The challenge:

Building up on the foundations of the old Madrid Congress Center as well as removing any architectural barrier.

The inspiration:

The roots of the Chicago’s high-rise architecture, geometric simplicity and great sobriety.

The result:

A building made up of two parts, a horizontal “city” and a vertical one shaped as an “inverted T” that differs from everything else built up until now. It achieves the humanization of the environment through people who generate talent, innovation and technology.

In addition, once the construction is finished, the complex will be submitted to the jury of the U.S. Green Building Council to obtain the Leed Gold certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).

A project that finally focuses on sustainability for people.
